Objective: Students will finish putting together a résumé for a literary or fictional figure, a one for themselves.Then they will research tips on do's and dont's and create a table with the information.

Activity: Create a résumé for a literary or fictional figure. When you finish, create a résumé for yourself. If you finish both résumés work on:

Research Tips for Résumé Do's and Don'ts -

  • Using the Internet, access the site that has 15 Tips for Writing Winning Resumes -      http://www.questcareer.com/tips.htm
  • In a Word Document, design a table with 2 columns and at least 10 rows.  The table will consist of the Do's and Don'ts of Resume Writing.  Apply information obtained from your research. Print the table - turn in for a grade.
  • Use this as a study guide for the quiz.

There will be a quiz Monday on résumés.

There will be no more printing from my room for projects/papers for other classes, so please do not even ask!
