7 Creating an Original Children's Story Book April is National Poetry Month Quote of the day: "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words ." – Robert Frost Journal - week 30 - document to use - after you write in your journals please have a seat. STAY LOGGED ON! What are we doing this week? Students will either in pairs, or individually, create a children's story utilizing their desktop publishing skills. Student may take a field trip to present their books to an elementary class. This will be a 2 week assignment and will be worth 400 pts. What are we doing today? Taking a POP quiz on ImageReady, then you will read over the requirements, get with a partner (optional) and brainstorm on ideas. Objectives: Students will be able to: work collaboratively, to create an original Children's book. Activity: Good Stuff!!! |
