What are we doing today?

Objective: Students will set up folders for the 2nd semester. Become reaquainted with rules, procedures, policies and authorized websites. New seating assignments. New Journal assignments. Old format will be in place for this week.

Activity/directions: Go to today's activity-1, then click on the Internet Safety News page, click on a title of an article to read. Using the form on the activity-1, answer the questions. Questions are worth 25 points each.

Turn in when completed.

9/10 Internet Safety

What are we doing today?

Journal

Objective: Students will finish setting up folders for the 2nd semester. Then watch videos and do fun activities relating to internet safety.

Make sure you have finished activity-1 from Tuesday, (and turned in) before you proceed.

Activity/directions: Watch the videos on Cyberbullying: parts 1, 2 & 3. from the Internet Safety News page.

Activity: After viewing the videos go to activity-2, and answer the questions. Questions are worth 25 points each. Print and turn in when completed. We can watch the videos as a group or individually, after you finish your journal we will decide as a class.

Journal

Objective: Students will finish Wed/Thurs activities. Internet Safety and do more fun activities relating to internet safety.

1st period - complete journals, save to journal file, print, turn in for a grade. Log off, sit in chairs in center of room. This is for 1st period only. Other classes continue on.

Make sure you have finished activity-1 and activity-2 (and turned in.)

What are we doing today? You will have a substitute today. Be respectful, quiet and finish your work. Turn in your worksheets when completed. You may have free time, but only if the substitute allows it, otherwise you will sit quietly at the center desks and study quietly on something of your choice. You should have a total of 4 worksheets saved and turned in by the end of class today.
