Objectives: Students will learn how to use selection tools and digital cut and paste techniques to assemble a picture using just fruits and veggies (can be aquired from google images) to produce an animation using ImageReady like the one below:

What are we doing this week? We will be starting a project of creating an animated banner using Photoshop/ImageReady. This will take approximately two weeks to complete. It will be in four parts. Each part will be for a screen grade.

What are we doing today? Start with Part I - Making an Animated Banner Stationary.

Objectives: Students will be able to create a animated banner stationary using ImageReady. See example

  2. Create a web-page header with a tabbed navigation bar, with rollover effects, slices and links. Use this image image. (Don't forget to go to page 2 to finish.)

What are we doing today? Finish reading about slices and image maps from Tuesday', then work on the activities. You will be tested Monday over Image Slices and Rollovers.

Objectives: Students will understand and be able to create Image Maps, Rollovers and Slices.

Activity: Finish Tuesday's activites then create rollovers, slices, and links on your Bee Banner - using Part IV. Show your Final Bee Banner in HTML format in Mozilla Firefox. For a final screen grade.

If you finish all of the assignments for this week, simple slice, web-page header with a tabbed navigation bar, and Part IV on your Bee Banner, make sure you have a grade for the Original Banner from last week. I have quite a few who did not complete this and have a 0.

What are we doing today? 10th graders are taking TAKS. 9th graders will be split into two groups: Group A will go to a fine arts presentation in the auditorium sponsored by PTSA; Group B will go to the       cafetorium for a MADD multi-media presentation.They will switch places. When they have seen both presentations, they will go back to their assigned classes and freedom Writers will be on closed circuit until testing is finished.
