After you are finished with your journal entry, log off (7th period only - shut down) and take a seat in the classroom chairs. Get out a pencil/pen and paper and make sure you take notes during the presentations.

This must be done to get credit. You should have filled out all information by now.

18 Principles of Design: Design concepts - Contrast, Repetition, Alignment & Proximity (CRAP)

This has to be done TODAY - You must register on Quia for games, quizzes, and tests. This must be done by TODAY.

  • Get a partner
  • Open the following presentation
  • Go to "format" then "Slide Design" and choose a design for your presentation.
  • Go to "file" & "save as" first save in student commons with both last names - then at the end of each day, save that copy to your personal folders.
  • When you are ready to place a picture of the web page simply press the "print screen" button on your key board. Then on the page that you want it to appear on press "Ctrl - V" or right click and choose "paste".
  • Now resize your image so that it fits. Hold down "shift" as you resize it to keep the proportions the same.

  • Use the  Cool Home Pages Site to find your pages . Not all of the links work just keep trying new ones. There are hundreds of sites. Pick a site that displays the colors or principals you are looking for. You cannot use a site more than once.

Create a Balloon Bouquet with different color schemes: monochromatic, Complimentary, analogous, warm & cool. Save for Screen Grade

  • Use at least 3 AutoShapes for each group
  • Use a different color scheme ( monochromatic, complimentary, analogous, warm & cool) for each group
  • Identify the scheme using WordArt
  • For each Balloon use Custom Colors, Fill Effects (Gradients, Textures, Patterns, Pictures), Transparency, Line Colors and Styles, Drop Shadows and 3D.

Save as Color Balloons in your personal folder in your daily work folder for Teacher Screen Grade. If it is not there, you will not receive a grade. It has to be in your personal drive under daily work.
