Week 28

    1. March 24: How was your Spring Break? Did you go anyplace far? Did you fly there? Did you stay home? Did you have fun?
    2. March 25: If you could do something that you've never done before, what would it be? Why would you want to do that?
    3. March 26/27: How do you feel about competition? (sports, school, friends, etc.) Elaborate.
    4. March 28: What is your favorite pizza place. Is it here in Kingwood, maybe someplace you visit or have visited? Do you get to go there often?

Week 29

    1. March 31: Name all the places where you have lived? Is there a place you would like to be there rather than here?
    2. April 1: What is today? Where/why/how do you think this day originated? Do you play practical jokes? Do you like practical jokes? What is the funniest practical joke you played or was played on you, or that you saw played?
    3. April 2/3: Create a list of the most important reasons for going to school." What will most likely happen if you don't get a good education?
    4. April 4: What was your favorite field trip that you took in elementary or middle school?

Week 30

    1. April 7: What did you think about the "Mr. VeggieMan Activity?" explain. Did you like making an animation? Did you feel you were an artist? In otherwords, did you feel creative?
    2. April 8: Write about getting up in the morning, What time do you get up? How long does it take you to get ready? What are some of the "routines" that you do? How do you get to school, do you have to catch a bus? Do you drive yourself to school now?
    3. April 9/10: If you were given $1million dollars, but had to give it all away, (but it had to be a stranger) who would you give it to and why? Would you give it to a charity? What charity? To a worthy cause? What cause? (Cancer research, to cure diabeties, a particular disease, or something near and dear to you?)
    4. April 11: Looking back at the school year, do you think you have matured? If yes, in what ways? What do you do differently now than you did at the beginning of the year (maturity wise.) If no, why not? What can you do to improve your deveolpment into adulthood?

Week 31

    1. April 14: You have been given the power to talk to animals. Which animal would you like to talk to? What questions would you ask? Is there anything you would like to tell the animal?
    2. April 15: Compile a list of 10 words that describe you as a child.  Compile a second list of 10 words that describe you as you are now. How are these lists the same? How are they different?
    3. April 16/17: What do you really appreciate about your life right now? Take some time to make a list of all the things you're thankful for.
    4. April 18: Describe five things that you usually do before school. Describe five things you do after school.

Week 32

    1. April 21: Teacher Inservice - No School
    2. April 22: If you knew you only had a month to live, how would you spend that time, what would you do?
    3. April 23/24: Did you ever forget something really important? If so, what happened? (If you can't think of anything, this may be an opportunity to make up your own question.)
    4. April 25: Write a letter to yourself to be sealed now and opened and read by you in ten years. What would you like to have yourself remember?

Week 34

    1. May 5: Describe an unforgettable experience. Use a lot of details, please!
    2. May 6: Describe your dream job, or your dream date, or your dream house! Pick one!
    3. May 7/8: Finish this sentence, If I could do it over again. . . .
    4. May 9: What do you and your family do to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, honors, etc?

Week 35

    1. May 12: Describe the perfect day. Put in as many details as  you can. Make it a possible day, not a "dream" day.
    2. May 13: Describe a "dream" day. How is it different from a possible day?
    3. May 14/15: Have you been looking into colleges lately? What colleges are you interested in? What would you like to study in college? If you don't plan to go to college, what job would you like to get when you graduate high school. Would you then like to take classes towards a college degree?
    4. May 16: Have you ever held an unpopular opinion or belief?  What were/are the results?

Week 36

    1. May 19: Think...right now, who do you admire most? (It could be your best friend, a teacher, a famous person.) Why do you admire them?
    2. May 20: Do you text on your phone, daily? How often do you text your friends? What are some of the things you usually text about (you DO NOT have to get personal here.) Or, if you do not text, please tell me what are your plans for the holiday weekend? (You may answer both.)
    3. May 21/22: Tell me what are your plans for the summer? Are you planning on traveling? If so, where? If not, what do you plan to do with your time? And, are you looking forward to becoming a sophmore/junior in high school next year?
    4. May 23: This is your last journal entry, please take some time on this one...tell me what you liked and what you disliked about my class. Please be honest! You will not be penalized for your honesty/answer.
