Here I’m going to show you the basics of animation in ImageReady

Lets start with creating a new image, the size doesn't matter, enter your first name.
I used the following:

We will now do some preparations for our animation. We are going to create a Text with changing color.
So we will create two layers of the same text, change the colors and tween them using ImageReady…
Lets start by dublicating the layer and changing the color of our text – I will make it darker

Go to Window>Animation

I’ll start the animation from the dark text, so i have to make to make the other layer invisible by pressing on the eye in the layers window.

Now go to the animation window and dublicate the current frame

It should look like this now:

Now make the dark layer invisible and the other one visible

In the animation window we have now two differnt frames:

To make it change colors slowly we have to add some frames between them. Select the last frame and press on the tween button in the animation window

I used the following settings

You should have 17 frames in the animation window now (2 frames we already had + 15 we have added)
Now we get a smooth change of colors, but it still looks like this:

Now i will show you how to make the text get darker again
Select the last frame and press the tween button again. Use this settings:

After saving the file we should get this animation:

Its very easy. You can do the same with moving the text, with filters e.t.c
Just remember to do the prepartion with different layers first and then animating them by making them invisible and dublicating the frames in the animation window
